Hi there, I'm Emma! I'm a second year communications student with experience in writing and editing, photography, design, and project management. My focus is in professional writing and publishing, and I am pursuing a career in publishing. I love vanilla orange lattes, physical media, and pretending I'm way better at guitar than I actually am. I also love being surrounded by other creative people and inhabiting creative spaces! ​​​

As a Christian communicator, creativity is not merely self-expression- it is an expression of Christ at work in me. My goal is not to make secular media more “holy” or treat the gospel as an add-on or afterthought. Instead, I want to create out of the overflow of a life shaped by Him. I am blessed to be a steward of the creativity God has given me. The words I use, the images I capture, and the stories that I tell are not ultimately mine- they belong to the Lord!

I aim to use the talents and skills I have developed to serve others through what I create. When people look at my work, I want them to see true artistry. I want them to see my genuine love for people. But most importantly, I want them to encounter Christ. For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
